relationships

The deepest, richest, most profound relationship a person can ever have is a relationship with God.

We had an awesome chance to hear testimonies from Daniel Lee and Toby Wang this past Sunday just before they headed they got baptised. 🙂 Always a joyful occasion, their testimonies highlighted just how wonderful a relationship with God is.

We all know that relationships, social networks, families, are the parts of life that are the most valuable. Ecclesiastes 4:10 says, “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” Having great friends are important to all of us.

But a relationship with God is the greatest relationship a person can have. Romans 5:10-11 says this, “For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.”

If you’re finding that in your life, you are still looking for that meaning, that greater purpose and depth in your existence, seek the greatest relationship of all – a living relationship with the only living God.

These were some thoughts from this Sunday’s Baptism message. You can find this week’s message, worship and testimonies on the BCEC Sermon Page or listen to them week’s message directly –
