the power of a praying family

I don’t know about you, but my favourite Pixar/Disney movie has to be “Inside Out”. It’s knocked off all the others (and that’s saying something! I mean I loved the incredibles, nemo, monsters inc etc. but still!)
Inside Out, without giving away too many spoilers, was soooooo good. Why? Because it had a huge emphasis on emotions, changes in life and family. The above image shows of one my favourite scenes in the film, and yeah, it was proper waterworks for me, the two times I saw it in the cinema. (Can’t wait for it to be out on DVD now! I predict more waterworks!)

Season of Prayer: Day 14

There was a postcard meme trending for a while saying “Everybody thinks a girls dream is to find a perfect guy. But it’s actually to eat without getting fat!” I’d say it’s true, I can’t speak on behalf of every girl out there. But it’s true for me! Could it be true for guys too? Perhaps..

i9:2 – The Pursuit of Happiness

“I must learn to be content with being happier than I deserve.”
-Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice

i92DataWhat makes you happy? What gives you pleasure? What’s the difference between happiness and joy? For most of us, “living the dream” is something that was mapped out for us — university, work, marriage, kids — but are those the elements that really make us happy?
