Brief Perspective on God’s Perfection
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. Matthew 5:48.
The imperfect trying to understand the Perfect, and the creation trying to understand the Creator.
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darken (Romans 1:20, 21).
The greatest revelation of the Creator God to humanity was when the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us (John 1:14). And no one can go to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
The only way back to the perfect God is opened.
