Looking at Titus 2 we see this idea continued
The grace of God has appeared :
-bringing salvation for all people
-training us to renounce (or turn from) ungodliness and wordly passions
— whilst we await our belssed hope, the return of God and Saviour Jesus Christ —
–who purify for himself a people for his own posession who are zealous for good works.
