Here are seven words all beginning with the letter R that you can use to pray through each day of the week.

REPRESENTATIVE

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I be your REPRESENTATIVE demonstrating your love and goodness to all I am in contact with.

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us…” 2 Corinthians 5:20a

REFUGE

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I find REFUGE and strength in you alone, being secure and safe in your presence.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

RUN

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I RUN the race marked out for me, relying on you alone.

“…but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

RENEWED

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I be RENEWED inwardly day by day and not lose heart.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” 2 Corinthians 4:16

REALIGN

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I REALIGN my heart to be completely aligned with yours.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” Psalm 139:23

REMEMBER

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I REMEMBER your faithfulness from before, worshiping you in thanksgiving and praise.

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles.” Psalm 77:11

REFRESHED

Abba Father, whatever it takes, may I be REFRESHED as you lead me beside still waters, restore my soul, my shepherd and my father.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” Psalm 23:1-3a
